Out of the car's I have owned, a side from my Camaro, this Monte Carlo is hands down my second favorite!   If it had a manual transmission and T-tops, it and the Camaro may have a struggle for which car I like the most.   Click --Here-- to read the back story about my interest in the Monte Carlo and my search for this one (along with pictures from shortly after I brought it home).

Many muscle car enthusiasts have trouble accepting that for a number of years the Monte Carlo label switched from the v8 drive trains over to a v6.   Sure, a v6 is not the same, but the 3800 Series II that GM has put under the hood of many of these Montes (and numerous other product lines) does pack a good punch.   Not to mention both the L36 Naturally Aspirated and L67 SuperCharged 3800s have many niche communities and lots of aftermarket performance enhancements available to them.
