May of 2010 - New Door Sills

Below are shots of my new custom door sills.   I think they came out AWESOME!   It's hard to tell, but they are brushed aluminum with black writing and a type or acrylic on top of it all.   The adhesive on these is SUPER tacky (basically, I would NOT want to ever peal them off again).

Unfortunately, when I was preparing my order with Best_Trim_Dash, I did not know anyone or have access to a two door W-Body car to take measurements of what the factory used for door sill covers.   I tried comparing door sizes between the Monte Carlo and my '84 Camaro and looking at the measurement of the Camaro's door sills (40 inches long, I believe) to the Monte.   I could not make up my mind and finally decided on the measurements of 33 inches by 2.5 inches.   As you see in the pics below, I think they turned out GREAT (no complaints)!   I was later at a junk yard and found a two door Grand Prix (another W-Body car) and I believe the length of it's factory door sill covers was 38 inches, so I don't think 33 was too bad of a final decision.
