Project Rebirth:
Front Nose/Bumper Cover
8-7-2005:
Well, I have been saying I wanted to pull the fenders and front nose. It's 'bout time I quit talking about it and DO IT! Two out of three parts are done, now to get the nose/bumper cover off. This was a piece of cake. I have nothing to really say about it other then it went according to plan and I was done.
I chose to leave the headlight bar attached to the front nose. At this point in time, I see no reason to remove it. I also consulted my dad about the impact bar and decided to leave it bolted to the car too. But now I can get more of a clear look at the sheet metal on the front clip. It's got some work, but all in good time.
In the mean time, I have some house hold items calling me. I am writing this webpage on 8-27-05. Earlier this week, my dad and I re-sealed my drive way (this ment cleaning it, filling in cracks and applying the sealer, 7 buckets of sealer). Before winter hits my area, I also have some issues to address with my garage (some water damage repair) and the screen door to my back patio needs replaced. Eventually (probably not this year) I also need to get my power service to my garage updated, as it's wired all screwy. Go to charge a small air compressor and blow out a breaker in the house. This could put a cramp in my plans when the Camaaro is ready for some sand blasting and welding when the time comes for that.
